In this month’s featured project, our customer was interested in a building for an agricultural machine and hay storage. Pre-engineered Tuff Posts, which we manufacture in-house, were used to allow for adequate headroom of 16’ building height. Translucent panels were added at the top of the wall to let in natural light through the back wall of the building. In order to keep his hay clear from condensation, double bubble vapor barrier insulation was used. A 12’’ overhang with vented steel soffit on all four walls, and a 48’’x48’’ cupola was also installed for ideal ventilation. The cupola put a great finishing touch on the project.
