Garages consist of basically stud frame walls, wood roof trusses, vinyl siding and a shingle roof. They are built on either a foundation or concrete slab. Since the walls are framed with generally 2" x 4"s, 16" on center, the walls can be insulated with standard installation. Garage siding and roofing colors can be easily matched to the house for a pleasing curb appeal. Great for car storage, work shop, storage and many other ideas.
